The standard Internet Acceptible Use Policy (http://eaglenet.lambuth.edu/policy.htm) applies to students using their home directories on Lambuth's web server, in addition to the following:
1. Students may not install or run any sort of script in their web directory which uses excessive system resources or affects the ability of other users to use the system. Doing so will result in the permanent loss of access privileges, and may result in disciplinary action.
2. Any action originating from an account will be assumed to have been performed by the account owner personally, and that person will be held accountable. With this in mind, PLEASE keep your login information private, and do not share your student ID# with anyone. If you would like to change your FTP login password to something besides the default, please contact the Webmaster, Dan Lapoint, at 731-425-3210 or lapoint@lambuth.edu.
3. Under no circumstances is any person who is not a Lambuth student, faculty member, or staff member to be permitted access to the FTP system on the web server. This service is for Lambuth students ONLY.
4. Any student who performs any action on the web server which compromises the security or stability of the system will lose their access privileges permanently, and may be subject to disciplinary action.
5. Students may not use this space for file sharing or for remote storage purposes, and may not set up any sort of public file repository within their space. Each student's account may not occupy more than 20 megabytes of disk-space.
